Chapter 2 - Treason

Yep, I did it. I have whored myself. I changed my climbing deck to poison harmony. After my first lose with SY to a SK random pile I had enough being bullied by these kind of decks, so I saw nothing wrong with switching to braindead-pointslam-with-tall-removal deck. And I don't regret. My winrate skyrocketed and I'm pretty happy. Today's record: 10-2. I have lost a mirror, I think with my given hand I couldn't do much. I should play a little more today, but I'm a bit tired after paying tributes to HS and LoR. But tomorrow no excuses, quick climb to pro rank, weekly journey missions speedrun for new trinkets and few scout games in that hell. So, here is my ST deck: https://www.playgwent.com/pl/decks/96bb375b1ee4de014502e6c6c2625149 I'm not sure about that sapper, probably will change him for rebuke tomorrow.

Chapter 1 - Back on Earth

Yeah, I thought that would be easier. It is really hard to get out of this elo hell, people play weird stuff here, you never know what will hit you next. For reference I lost today to Oriole on my Passiflora in SK pile and naked Vincent in tactic NG. I lost two games due to my heavy golds, once I was so desperate I mulliganed into my last special and bricked my leader. My hands were so bad I even lost to dwarfs. But after the game I realized I could play better. On blue, I shouldn't play slow and give them reach in their Zoltan if I have no answer in hand. Phill, why did you abandon me when I needed you the most? So I started with my cache deck from last season and tranformed it into Wild Card list with Slander and Graden. In the first iteration I got rid of all hoard cards, but after I lost my respect for Passiflora and switch it with Sigi and put Redanian and Saul back. With Reuven and Pickpocket it is relatively easy to reach coin cap and get good value off these cards. With S...

Journey's roadmap

This game needs at least one roadmap, so there it is. Since I barely made top1000 last month I'm forced to climb to pro rank again. Four days seems reasonable, one day for reaching ranks 2 and 1, two days for final push. I will start with my cache deck from last season, it will probably transition into some wild card/blood money nonsense. Last season was crazy, you needed 10300 mmr to be in top64, which is 2575 for faction. I'm not really sure what score I should aim at, this month world should slowly, but surely, recover from this virus madness, so mmr requirement should go down. I will start with 2450 on every faction to the end of this week, and climb 50 points per week after that. That should guarantee 2550 fmmrs and let me observe ladder situation and do little adjustments if needed. I'm not sure which four factions I should pick. As a polish SY ambassador i have no real choice. NR should be still strong, even after huge 3 point nerf. Harmony is harmony, oh well....

The journey begins

So, hello. My name is Oskar and i'm going to win Gwent Open 3. Thanks for reading. Jokes aside. I decided to tryhard this season and qualify to top64 tournament. That was my goal for a four months now, but i was lacking courage and selfdiscipline. In order to not fail this time I created this blog to post my daily progress to make sure I actually play this videogame. I also made a deal with Zedyboi, if I qualify, he is obligated to stream. He won't do that anyway, that's Zedy, but at least I can pretend I have a very important reason to do my best. The second reason why I created this blog is my english. It is really bad and it is nice playground to polish it. So don't hesitate and pepePoint all my mistakes. It is going to be a beautiful month. Just don't mess it up, moron.
